Starting from  the desire of one two-wheeled vehicle rider for a community of two-wheeled vehicle riders with a common type and brand which is Honda Karisma, then an idea was spawned to create an information center for motorcycle riders in the cyber world. This is done so they can share information on the motorcycles they use and to share various experiences in a friendship and brotherhood of fellow bikers.

On 31 July 2003, karisma_Honda@yahoogroups.com was born with a motto “INDAHNYA KEBERSAMAAN IN CYBER WORLD/THE BEAUTY OF TOGETHERNESS IN CYBER WORLD”.

Based on advanced communication technology, within a short time karisma_Honda@yahoogroups.com mailing list  ( ± 2 years 9 months) already has 977 members with around 80% of them living in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Depok areas and the rest spread in major cities of Indonesia, and has conducted several events aimed at joining all the members in real life.

Those events are :

1. KopDar (meet up) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 in  the parking area of Mesjid Al-Bina, Senayan, Jakarta and parking area of Taman Makam Pahlawan Kalibata (Kalibata Heroes’ Cemetery) Jakarta.

Thanks to the graces from God Almighty, on 19 March 2006, we held a General Meeting (Musyawarah Besar) with an agenda of Establishing the Articles of Association and By laws (AD/ART) KHCC, Vision and Mission and election of General Chairman for periods of 2006 – 2007, as well as declaring ourself to outsiders that we have become the Karisma Honda Cyber Community (KHCC).

We deemed it necessary because KHCC possess a broader meaning. We have a base/platform in the cyber world that KHCC will become a gathering place for information and interaction among fellow Honda Karisma lovers wherever they are, both individual and other Clubs/Organizations.

The Vision and Mission of KHCC are :

Vision
To make KHCC a gathering place for information and interaction among fellow Honda Karisma lovers wherever they are, based on togetherness by focusing on unity and striving to create traffic safety and order in Indonesia by providing good examples to road users through ‘safety riding’ behavior.

Mission

1. To become a gathering place for communication and interaction among fellow riders or lovers Honda Karisma all over Indonesia with Cyber media.
2. To assist in creating safety riding awareness and  behavior by helping to disseminate information regarding ‘Safety Riding’ program to create Safety, Order, and Good Guidance in using the road.
3. To provide benefit for motorcycle riders in particular and other people in general in riding, especially in tightening brotherhood and friendhip.
4. To create  a solid togetherness among humans in general and awareness about the environment.
